LED Shopfronts & Structural LED Window Displays
Dynamo LED Displays designed and installed the UK’s first structural LED video shopfront at Hour Passion, Gatwick Airport — replacing conventional glass and signage with a fully dynamic LED facade. Since then we have delivered bespoke LED shopfront and window installations for luxury retail, travel retail, and high-street brands across the UK and internationally.
Every shopfront LED is engineered for commercial retail environments: high-brightness panels visible in ambient daylight, structural mounting that integrates with the storefront frame, content management systems your team can operate without specialist training, and 24/7 reliability standards.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can an LED shopfront replace the entire glass storefront?
Yes — the Hour Passion Gatwick install is structural, not glass-fronted. Every element of the shopfront is LED. Daylight-readable brightness combined with structural mounting means LED can take the place of conventional shopfront glazing where the brief requires it.
How bright does an LED shopfront need to be?
For window-facing LED visible in direct sunlight: 4,500–7,000 nits. Conventional indoor LED (1,500–2,500 nits) will look washed out against daylight. Dynamo specs daylight-readable panels with anti-glare coatings for shopfront use.
What lead time should I expect?
Standard structural-LED shopfront: 12–16 weeks from approved specification. Complex architectural integrations: 16–24 weeks. Lead time is confirmed in writing at the quote stage.
Will the LED shopfront work with my existing content management system?
Yes — we integrate with most CMS platforms, or supply our own LED-optimised CMS as part of the install. Content can be scheduled by daypart, campaign, or geofence.
