The brief: one wall that sells the whole range
A tile and bathroom showroom can only lay out so many ranges on the floor. RAK Ceramics wanted a screen large enough to anchor the showroom and fine enough to show its products in close-up video from a few metres away, and it wanted the work done without closing the store. Dynamo answered with a fixed-install LED video wall at P1.9mm, fitted overnight.
What Dynamo installed
A 3.6 m × 2.3 m wall at P1.9mm
The wall measures 3.6 m wide by 2.3 m high. At 1.9mm pixel pitch the pixels disappear from about two metres, which is where showroom customers stand, so a close-up of a tile surface or a basin reads as a photograph rather than a screen. The published pixel count for the wall is 1,920 × 1,240.
480 mm cabinets, fitted in one night
The wall is built from 480 × 480 mm P1.9mm cabinets. The cabinet size matters on a live retail floor: each one is light enough for one person to lift onto the frame, and the whole wall is assembled, cabled and aligned in hours rather than days. Dynamo’s Dubai team installed the complete wall overnight, so the showroom opened as normal the next morning with the screen running.

The wall plays high-definition video of the ranges on show in the store, so customers see a product in a finished room rather than as a sample on a rack. Current Dynamo options for a showroom LED video wall
A wall of this size today would be built from 250 × 250 mm front-service modules. Where customers stand close to the screen the current default is the DIT Pro P1.9; where the wall is read from across the floor the DX Series at 2.5mm to 3.9mm costs less per square metre for the same size. DIT Pro figures are from the supplier specification and DX figures from the DX Series datasheet; no prices are given here.

What pixel pitch does a showroom LED wall need?
Choose the pitch for the closest distance a customer will normally stand. In a tile or bathroom showroom that is about two metres, which points to 1.9mm or finer so that product close-ups look like photographs. Walls read from across the floor can use 2.5mm to 3.9mm and cost less per square metre for the same size.
How long does an LED video wall take to install?
A wall of around 3.6 m × 2.3 m on a prepared frame with power and data in place can be hung, cabled and aligned in a single night, which is how the RAK Ceramics wall was done. Larger walls, bespoke frames or walls recessed into joinery take longer, and the survey and frame work happen before the LED arrives.

How bright does an indoor showroom LED wall need to be?
Indoor showroom walls run at a fraction of their peak brightness. A fine-pitch module rated at 600 nits is more than enough for a lit retail floor, and the DX Series at 800 nits or more gives headroom for a wall near glazing. Brightness is turned down in the processor so the picture does not glare, which also extends the life of the LEDs.
How is content updated on a showroom LED screen?
Through a content management system that reaches the screen over the internet. The marketing team uploads a video or a playlist, sets a schedule, and the wall updates without anyone on site. Several showrooms can run the same campaign at once or each can have its own, and the system reports whether each screen is online and playing.
