LED Prayer Time Display Board

SKU DYN-IND-HW-76 Category

A well-specified LED prayer time display is the quiet backbone of a well-run mosque, Islamic centre, school or workplace prayer room. Congregants should know at a glance when each Salah begins โ€” without apps, paper rotas or someone manually updating a whiteboard every week. Dynamo designs and supplies prayer time display boards that calculate the five daily prayers automatically, keep perfect time, and present the information clearly in Arabic, English or both.

Whether you need a discreet single-panel board for a prayer room, a larger foyer display for a community mosque, or a networked set of screens across a multi-site Islamic centre, the brief is the same: accurate times, clean typography, reliable Athan alerts, and hardware that still looks right five or ten years after installation.

A modern prayer time display board, built for real use

Our indoor LED prayer boards show all five daily prayers โ€” Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha โ€” alongside Shuruq (sunrise), Iqamah times, the Hijri and Gregorian date, and the current local time. The layout is configurable per site, so if your committee prefers a specific order, extra fields for Jumu’ah, or bilingual labels, the display is built around that preference rather than a fixed template.

Prayer times are calculated on-device using established methods โ€” Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, Egyptian General Authority, Karachi and others โ€” adjustable from the admin interface. Location is set by GPS coordinates during commissioning, so the display recalculates automatically through the year, including seasonal changes and Ramadan. No spreadsheets. No monthly uploads.

Athan alerts, bilingual text and clear typography

When each prayer time arrives, the board can trigger an Athan (call to prayer) through connected speakers, flash a visual alert, or switch to an Iqamah countdown for the adjusted congregational time. Between prayers, the display can rotate short messages โ€” Jumu’ah khutbah topics, fundraising updates, class timetables, janaza announcements โ€” in Arabic and English, right-to-left and left-to-right rendering handled natively.

Fonts are selected for readability at distance. Arabic numerals or Hindu-Arabic numerals, 12- or 24-hour format, colour-coded prayer rows, highlighted next-prayer indicators โ€” all configurable. The brightness auto-adjusts through the day so the board is never harsh in a dim prayer hall or washed out in a sunlit foyer.

Indoor LED panels, custom casing and wall mounting

Dynamo builds prayer time display boards using fine-pitch indoor LED panels โ€” typically P2.5, P3 or P4 โ€” chosen to match the viewing distance. A small prayer room might use a 1m-wide board at P2.5; a main mosque hall may take a 2m or 3m display at P3 or P4. The casing is made to suit the building: brushed stainless, powder-coated aluminium, wood veneer surrounds, Arabic calligraphy borders โ€” whatever fits the interior.

Mounting options include standard wall brackets, recessed flush installation into plasterboard, or freestanding floor cabinets for heritage buildings where wall fixings are restricted. Cable entry, IR receiver position and service access are all engineered before manufacture so installation is clean.

Remote management across single or multiple sites

Every display ships with networked control. Staff can update messages, adjust Iqamah offsets, change the calculation method or switch languages from a web dashboard โ€” no site visit required. For organisations running several prayer rooms or a mosque with satellite centres, a single login manages the full estate. Content schedules, Ramadan timetables and special-day announcements can be pushed to all boards simultaneously.

Time synchronisation uses NTP over the local network, with a fallback to internal RTC if the internet drops. GPS-based time sync is also available for sites with poor network coverage.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate are the prayer times?

Times are calculated from verified astronomical data using your chosen method (Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura, etc.) and your site’s GPS coordinates. Accuracy is to the minute, with Iqamah offsets fully adjustable by your committee.

Can the board show both Arabic and English?

Yes. Bilingual layouts are standard โ€” Arabic alongside English is the most common configuration, but Urdu, Turkish, Bengali and French are all supported. Text direction and numeral style are handled natively.

Does it trigger the Athan through our sound system?

It can. The display has an audio output that connects to your PA or local speakers, and plays a pre-loaded Athan recording (or your preferred Muezzin’s voice) at each prayer time. Volume and schedule are controlled remotely.

Can we update it ourselves without calling you?

Absolutely. The web dashboard is designed for non-technical users. Committee members, imams or office staff can update Iqamah times, add announcements, change languages or adjust the calculation method from any browser.

What about Ramadan timings and special days?

Ramadan automatically adjusts โ€” Sehri, Iftar and Taraweeh timings can be added as extra rows, and the Hijri calendar highlights special days (Lailat al-Qadr, Eid) automatically.

Can it be customised to match our mosque interior?

Yes. The casing, surround, colour scheme and on-screen template are all bespoke. We’ve built boards with calligraphy borders, Islamic geometric patterns, wood surrounds and minimalist black frames โ€” whatever suits the space.
