The VX6s was renowned as an all-in-one video controller, ingeniously integrating sending card functions with powerful video processing. It supported 7 versatile video inputs and 6 Gigabit Ethernet outputs, making it a robust hub for diverse media sources. Built on a powerful FPGA processing platform, the VX6s delivered flexible screen control and outstanding video presentations through its seamless switching and fade effects.
Key to its performance was its capacity to handle up to 3.9 million pixels of video output, ensuring your content appeared sharp and vibrant. With 7 input connectors including 2 × 3G-SDI, 2 × HDMI1.3, 2 × DVI, and 1 × USB, the VX6s offered extensive compatibility for any setup. It expertly managed 3 layers and an OSD, supported quick and advanced screen configurations, and allowed for effortless switching between preview and program output with a single button press. Users also benefited from PGM preview, adjustable input resolutions, source backup, and screen brightness control. The ability to cascade multiple VX6s units, automatically scale images to fit the whole screen (up to 4096 pixels wide), and save up to 16 user presets made it incredibly versatile. For truly professional synchronisation, any HDMI or DVI input could serve as the master signal for vertical output sync. All these features were brought together with an intuitive OLED screen and clear button indicators, simplifying control even in high-pressure live environments.
