LED Screen Floor

Dynamo’s LED screen floor systems transform retail activations, dance floors, stadiums, exhibition stands and broadcast sets into reactive, walk-on surfaces. Built on our DF series interactive floor tile with a ≤0.01s response time, 16 touch points per module, an anti-scratch surface rated to 2,000kg per square metre, and a fully IP65 front and rear waterproof rating for indoor or outdoor deployment.

Why brands choose interactive LED flooring

An LED floor turns passive footfall into measurable engagement. Visitors who would normally walk past a static graphic stop, photograph and interact — capacitive sensors under the LED surface trigger instant content changes, ripple effects, branded animations and games as people step on each module. We’ve deployed our LED floor systems for retail flagships including Costa Coffee’s London pop-up (3.9mm pixel pitch, 33ms response time, two-tonne load capacity) and ongoing campaigns across UK shopping centres and event activations.

Instant interaction, zero-lag touch response

The DF series ensures zero delay in interactive effects, with multiple touch points per floor tile creating a seamless, responsive environment. 16 capacitive touch points per module and an industry-leading response time of less than 0.01 seconds turn passive viewers into active participants — driving the dwell time and social-shareability that retail activations are built on.

Indoor & outdoor — IP65 waterproof tile design

Dependability is paramount. Engineered for long-term use and demanding daily operating hours, the DF series delivers stable, consistent performance. Stable signal and backup power provide peace of mind in high-footfall areas. With robust front and rear IP65 waterproof design, it offers unparalleled versatility for festivals, outdoor activations, washdown environments and challenging indoor venues.

Effortless maintenance — magnetic 3-second module swap

Minimise downtime, maximise uptime. The DF series features an innovative magnetically fixed module design, dramatically reducing service time. A single module can be expertly swapped in under 3 seconds with the correct tools, ensuring your display is always performing at its best — even during a live event.

How is an LED floor installed and maintained?

Installation uses modular 500×500 mm tiles that lock together with concealed cabling channels. Each tile is hot-swappable in under three seconds without disturbing surrounding modules. The Dynamo engineering team handle everything in-house from CAD layout through commissioning — we don’t sub-contract installation. Ongoing maintenance is covered by our SLA-backed service contracts.

Frequently asked questions

How much weight can an LED floor take?
Our DF series is rated to 2,000 kg per square metre, which means it can support a car for activation displays as well as high-heel and high-footfall use without surface damage.

What pixel pitch should I choose for an LED screen floor?
For close-viewing retail and exhibition use, P3.91 or P4.81 deliver photo-realistic visuals from 1 metre viewing distance. For stadium concourses or larger event floors, P6.25 lowers cost-per-square-metre while remaining crisp from 2 metres+.

Is an interactive LED floor waterproof?
Yes — our DF series carries IP65 front and rear rating, allowing it to be deployed outdoors and to be cleaned with standard wet processes. It is suitable for festivals, outdoor activations and high-spill environments.

How responsive is the touch interaction?
The DF series has 16 capacitive touch points per tile and a response time of less than 0.01 seconds — effectively perceived as instantaneous by users.

Do you install LED floors in the UK?
Yes. Dynamo LED Displays is a UK manufacturer and installer with in-house design, fabrication and field service across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
