LED Window Displays for Bookmakers
The last poster you’ll ever print. Dynamo designs, supplies and installs high-brightness LED window displays for bookmakers — screens that stand in the glass, hold their content against direct sunlight and change with the day’s card. One person publishes from head office; every window in the estate updates.
We work with the operations, marketing and estates teams who carry the poster cycle today: artwork to print, print to freight, freight to fitting — and a window that is out of date before the weekend settles. An LED window replaces that loop with a schedule.
Commercial LED display routes
For a permanent fixed installation, start with LED video wall installation. For a betting shop window, the high-brightness DX HB window series on this page is the usual starting point. For temporary events, launches or short campaigns, use LED screen hire.
The Poster Problem
Print has carried the bookmaker’s window for decades, and every operator knows what sits behind it — not just the print bill, but the loop it commits every shop to.
Artwork to Print
Every price change, promotion and event needs new artwork, a print run and a delivery date before a single passer-by sees it. The window can only ever show what was true when the file went to print.
Freight to Every Shop
Posters don’t distribute themselves. Each campaign is packed, shipped and chased into every shop in the estate — and the shops at the end of the run go live last.
Fitting Labour
Someone in every shop stops serving to strip the old poster and fit the new one. Multiply that by every window, every campaign, every week of the sporting calendar.
Stale by Saturday
Odds move in seconds; paper doesn’t. A printed window is a snapshot, and the bigger the sporting weekend, the faster that snapshot ages in the glass.
One Desk, Every Window
Every display in the estate is managed from a central content management system. Publish once and the content is live in every window you choose — no couriers or ladders, and no lag between head office and the high street.
Publish once —
one piece of content, pushed to the whole estate in a single action. Every window shows the same offer at the same moment — or its own, if that’s the plan.
Group and target —
screens are grouped the way the business runs: all shops, London only, the north of England, or a single brand within the group. Each group carries its own content.
Schedule ahead —
load the week in advance — morning racing cards, afternoon football, evening in-play — and the window changes on the clock without anyone in the shop touching it.
Monitor remotely —
see what every screen is showing from head office, confirm the estate is carrying what you intended, and catch a fault before the shop phones it in.
In plain terms: the window stops being a print-logistics exercise and becomes a screen on the marketing team’s desk. Publish once; every window follows.
Built for Glass — The DX HB Window Series
Standard indoor LED is made for controlled light, and a sunlit window defeats it. The DX HB window series is the high-brightness member of our DX platform, rated at ≥3,000 nits against the ≥800 nits typical of standard indoor panels — bright enough to hold its content through glass in direct daylight.
Cabinets are 47mm deep and front serviceable: they stand tight to the glass line without filling the window bay, and modules are accessed from the shop side without taking the display down. Refresh is ≥3,840Hz with 14-bit greyscale, so motion stays clean and the screen reads steadily on a phone camera rather than strobing.
Two pitches cover bookmaker windows: HB 2.9mm where passers-by stop close to the glass, HB 3.9mm where the pavement gives more distance. Resolution comes from the module count: a 1m × 2m portrait window in HB 2.9 is 4 × 8 modules at 84 pixels each — 336 × 672 pixels. The same window in HB 3.9 resolves 256 × 512.

The Armoury, Arsenal FC — Six Windows of LED
When Arsenal FC transformed The Armoury as part of a £300m sponsorship deal with Adidas, the store front had to carry the story to the street. We installed six external-facing high-brightness portrait displays, each 2m × 2.5m at 3.9mm pixel pitch and 4,500cd/m² — vibrant even in direct sunlight.
Inside, a custom 3mm ticker runs over 13 metres with seamless right-angle returns — a format any bookmaker would recognise as an odds run. The relevance to a betting shop window is direct: portrait high-brightness displays standing in glazing, readable in daylight, doing the job posters used to do.

In plain terms: LED behind retail glazing is work we have already delivered for Canada Goose, Hermès and Sotheby’s — screens standing in the glass, working the pavement. A bookmaker’s window is the same discipline with faster-moving content.
Retail Windows, Delivered — Featured Installations
Window LED is its own discipline: brightness that beats daylight, cabinets shallow enough for the glass line, and installation planned around trading. These published projects are the evidence.
- Arsenal FC, The Armoury — six 2m × 2.5m high-brightness portrait window displays at 4,500cd/m², plus a 13m LED ticker
- Canada Goose, Regent Street — 5.0m × 2.5m window display at 2.6mm pitch, installed overnight
- Hermès 2024 festive windows — 2.06mm screens behind the festive sets at New Bond Street and Cadogan Place, lit 24 hours a day for five weeks
- Sotheby’s, One Hyde Park — 6.0m × 2.0m display at 2.6mm and 3,500 nits behind street-facing glass
From First Shop to Full Estate
From first conversation to handover, we manage every stage. The sensible first step is a single shop — one window, measured against the posters it replaced — before any wider rollout.
Site Survey & Brief
We visit the shop, measure the glazing and the window bay, and understand viewing distances, power and how the window trades — including what the poster cycle currently costs in print, freight and fitting time.
Design & Specification
Technical plans covering pitch (HB 2.9 or HB 3.9), display size built from 250mm module increments, mounting and cabling — with resolution stated from the module count, so what is quoted is what is delivered.
Manufacture & Content
Panels are built to specification while content templates are set up for the way you work — racing cards, football coupons, price boosts and brand pieces, ready to schedule.
Installation
Planned with your operations team and worked around opening hours, so the shop keeps trading. Canada Goose’s Regent Street window went in overnight — occupied premises are the norm for window work, not the exception.
Handover & Training
Your team takes the controls: publishing, grouping and scheduling from head office. Every installation carries our standard 3-year return-to-base warranty, with optional service contracts on top.
